A bus shelter design inspired by the concept of movement of buses and people, deriving its organic flowing form from natural patterns such as leaf veins and water flow.

Popis projektu

The project explores the design of a bus shelter based on analyzing the movement patterns of buses arriving, stopping, and departing, as well as the flow of people coming, staying, and leaving. The form evolution derives from organic natural forms - starting from leaf-like branching patterns and evolving into a flowing, folded canopy structure. The zoning diagram maps movement patterns within the shelter space. The design concepts emphasize flowing, breathing, harmony, orientation, and connectivity, translating natural movement into architectural form.

Technické informace

Materials include concrete, limestone, marble tiles, timber structures, steel, and glass. The shelter form is developed through iterative folding and sculpting of surfaces. The design incorporates zoning for drop-off and pickup areas with clear circulation paths mapped through the shelter.
