PAUSE is envisioned as an urban breathing space where movement meets recreation. The project combines a multistoried parking structure with rooftop and integrated turf facilities, transforming a typically utilitarian building into a vibrant community destination. The concept is "A Bamboo Veil." Urban sustainability is all about creating cities that can thrive while minimizing their negative impact on the environment. It’s a dynamic balance between accommodating growing populations and ensuring Natural resources and ecosystems are protected. A multi-level parkade designed to manage urban vehicle storage within a compact footprint efficiently. The circulation system is organized for smooth entry. exit, and clear vehicular movement. Structural grids and ramps are designed to optimize functionality. and spatial efficiency.

Popis projektu

The project proposes a new building inserted within an existing urban block context. The structure features a distinctive facade that contrasts with the surrounding buildings. The building appears to be a multi-story structure with a rooftop sports facility. The ground level is designed with pedestrian activity, trees lining the street, and transparent ground-floor spaces suggesting smooth parking for commercial use.

Technické informace

A bamboo façade is introduced to soften the heavy concrete mass and improve visual comfort. The bamboo facade also prioritizes the usage of local materials. It also enhances natural ventilation while creating a sustainable architectural expression. The design balances utility and aesthetics, transforming parking into an urban architectural element.
