The concept board presents key elements of South Indian vernacular architecture including: 1. Local materials according to climate. 2. Wooden pillars as a hallmark of South Indian architecture. 3. Tiled roofs (terracotta) sloped for heavy rainfall areas. 4. Jali works for ventilation, light filtering, and aesthetics. 5. Courtyards as central spaces for ventilation and natural light. 6. Oxide flooring and Athangudi tiles used.
