Idea projektu

The design concept of this eco-lodge is inspired by the idea of “blending architecture with the landscape,” where the building is perceived as a natural extension of the terrain rather than an object imposed upon it. The fluid, undulating forms emerge from the site’s topography, creating green roofs that seamlessly merge with the surrounding environment and minimize the visual impact on the natural setting. The accommodation units are partially embedded within the earth, benefiting from the thermal mass of the ground to enhance comfort and reduce energy consumption. Circulation paths continue across the green roofs, allowing visitors to experience a continuous interaction between architecture and nature. The project aims to create a tranquil and sustainable retreat where the boundaries between the built environment and the landscape dissolve, fostering a deeper connection between people and the natural world.

Popis projektu

This project is conceived as an eco-lodge and nature retreat that seamlessly integrates with its surrounding landscape. Rather than imposing a conventional architectural form onto the site, the design emerges from the terrain itself, creating a series of earth-covered structures that blend harmoniously with the natural environment. The flowing green roofs extend the landscape over the built spaces, preserving visual continuity and minimizing the project's ecological footprint.
The development provides accommodation, communal gathering areas, and wellness spaces designed to promote relaxation, environmental awareness, and a close connection with nature. By partially embedding the buildings within the ground, the project benefits from passive thermal performance, reducing energy demands while enhancing indoor comfort throughout the year.
Carefully designed circulation routes traverse the green roofs and landscape, encouraging visitors to engage with the site from multiple perspectives. The architecture becomes both shelter and landscape, offering an immersive experience where the boundaries between built form and nature are intentionally blurred. Through sustainable design strategies and a sensitive response to the environment, the project aims to create a peaceful retreat that celebrates the coexistence of architecture, people, and the natural world.
