Idea projektu

A café and pedestrian bridge design concept called OKRUH (Circuit), integrating a circular café building with a bridge connecting two areas near a historic church setting.

Popis projektu

The project proposes a café and bridge complex situated near a church. The design follows a circular/curved plan form, creating a fluid spatial experience. The concept explores the relationship between new contemporary architecture and existing historic context. The café features extensive glazing with vertical slat screens, creating filtered views toward the surrounding landscape and church. The bridge element connects different terrain levels, serving as both circulation infrastructure and an architectural statement. The design incorporates material and visual inspirations from the surrounding context, using warm tones of brick, stone, and perforated screens.

Technické informace

The project includes floor plans, sections, site sections (řez územím), western and northern elevations (západní pohled, severní pohled), axonometric views, architectural details, and visualizations. The curved plan features a central circulation core with surrounding café spaces. The structure appears to use a combination of concrete and steel with timber or metal screening elements.
