Idea projektu

A memorial place at the Red Tower of Death site, conceived as a calm enclosed space combining with nature and an accompanying landscape, where the curving wall references the industrial character of the area and creates a contemplative space for remembrance.

Popis projektu

The memorial site is designed as a circular enclosed space with curved rammed earth walls that create an intimate, contemplative environment. The design incorporates existing pathways connecting to the surrounding urban structure, with carefully considered views and spatial divisions. The space is divided into several experiential zones including a natural garden area, a central memorial space, and connecting paths. The curving walls have no sharp edges, serving as a metaphor for the erasure of memory and impermanence. The forms function as abstract symbols without decorative elements, operating primarily through atmosphere, darkness, and silence.

Site plan at 1:500 scale, floor plan at 1:500 scale, south elevation at 1:300, west elevation at 1:300, north elevation at 1:300, section A-A' at 1:300. The project includes analysis of routes, views, and spatial division diagrams. The structure features curved walls with what appears to be rammed earth or similar material construction.
