Idea projektu

The main inspiration for the design is the living element of water, understood not only as a physical phenomenon but primarily as a symbol of changeability, continuity, and natural movement. Water is dynamic, does not remain in a predictable form, and this principle serves as the foundation for the entire concept.

Popis projektu

The architectural concept consists of three independent arches whose shape derives from the motif of a wave. Each represents a different phase of its development, together creating a sequential sequence that captures the temporal course of the wave. The design combines natural inspiration, impact on daily life, and simultaneously reflects current societal themes. The arches serve not only as functional elements but also as carriers of the idea — connecting space, people, and ideas in a fluid, natural flow. Its placement derives from analysis of pedestrian routes — places where people often pass through.

Technické informace

An important role in the design is the material solution. The construction is designed from recycled PET bottles, which give it new functional and aesthetic value. It is not only an ecological gesture, but also a way to respond to current environmental problems and demonstrate possibilities for solving them through architecture. Part of the concept is the process of material creation itself — the project involves collecting plastic waste directly at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, where students actively participate in its collection. The design becomes not only a resulting object but also a participatory process that connects the community and raises awareness about sustainability.
