A university training center located near the Slapy water reservoir, connected to the ČVUT research facility Stav Josef. The design aims to create a multifunctional complex including conference services, administration, training facilities, and accommodation for 20 people.
The design respects the small-scale surrounding development and landscape character of the area. Buildings are logically organized along a compositional axis that connects the entrance part directly with the Slapy reservoir. The main program is divided into two masses. The first building houses conference and administrative spaces. The second building serves as accommodation and is acoustically separated from the operational areas. The massing and scale of the buildings respond to the existing structures on site and create a gradual transition from the approach to the waterfront.
The building features gabion cage stone cladding walls, exposed reinforced concrete columns (RAL 1019), glass curtain walls, and green roof elements. Floor plans show ground floor and second floor layouts at 1:150 scale. The complex section at 1:30 scale details wall construction including insulation layers, stone cladding, and window assemblies. South and north elevations and cross-sections of both the conference and accommodation parts are provided at 1:150 scale.
