Idea projektu

The design responds to the specific character of the area 'Na Dolíku' in Stará Boleslav, creating a city gallery that naturally communicates with the surrounding buildings. The concept is based on a wedge form that changes the monolithic shape, a cut that divides the building, a pull that opens views, and a screen that covers the interior, all working together as a whole.

The proposal reacts to the specific character of the territory 'Na Dolíku' in Stará Boleslav. It creates a complex of buildings that naturally communicates with the surrounding structures, fitting into the urban context on one side and creating a new street front on the other. The architectural solution responds to the street situation and the surrounding context becomes a key consideration. The building is optically divided into a communication and a resting part, connected by contrasting elements.

Technické informace

Materials include perforated fired clay bricks, seamed aluminum roofing, channel glass for translucent facades, stainless steel structural elements, and concrete screed. The structural solution features a steel frame construction with brick cladding. The building includes floor plans at multiple levels with sections showing the gabled roof form and interior gallery spaces.
