Idea projektu

Design of a new Building H for the Faculty of Civil Engineering of CTU in Prague, located in Dejvice, Prague 6, creating a modern university facility integrated into the existing campus.

Popis projektu

The project proposes a new university building for the Faculty of Civil Engineering at CTU in Prague's Dejvice district. The building features a transparent glass facade with a steel and concrete structural system, creating open and light-filled interior spaces suitable for education, offices, and collaborative work. The design includes multiple floors with a typical floor plan organization, underground parking levels, and an atrium space. The building connects to the existing campus context and respects the urban scale of the Dejvice area. The ground floor provides accessible entry points and public-oriented functions, while upper floors accommodate faculty offices, lecture rooms, and study spaces.

Technické informace

The building utilizes a reinforced concrete frame structure with steel elements. Floor plans show entrance level, typical floor, and underground parking level at 1:350 scale. The design includes cross-sections through the building, east and west elevations, and a section through the atrium. Underground levels contain parking facilities and technical rooms. The facade system consists of a glazed curtain wall with horizontal metal panels.
