A memorial to political prisoners, commemorating the suffering and injustice experienced at the Red Tower of Death.
The project is a memorial dedicated to political prisoners (památník politickým vězňům). The design features a contemporary concrete and timber-clad building with angular, intersecting volumes that create dramatic interior spaces. The building incorporates raw concrete walls and carefully framed views, evoking a sense of confinement and reflection. The architectural language uses dark red/maroon structural elements as a symbolic reference to the 'Red Tower of Death'. The memorial includes exhibition spaces with concrete interiors that create a contemplative atmosphere appropriate for remembrance.
The building consists of intersecting rectangular volumes with flat roofs. Floor plan shows a linear arrangement of spaces on the ground floor (1.NP). Construction appears to use concrete walls with timber cladding on portions of the exterior. Sections (Řez A-A', Řez B-B') show single-story spaces with varying ceiling heights. Four elevations are provided: western (západní), northern (severní), eastern (východní), and southern (jižní).
