A pavilion structure at the intersection of the university campus and the city, functioning as a bridge between academic and urban life.
Located at the corner of Technická street in Prague-Dejvice, the project serves as a transitional space connecting the university campus with the surrounding city. The dominant red color and steel framework define the architectural expression. The structure uses a modular system with shipping container-like elements combined with an open steel frame that allows for flexible use. The building functions as a multifunctional space including an outdoor study area, exhibition pavilion, relaxation pavilion, and café. The vertical division creates two floors with a generous staircase connecting the ground level public spaces with upper level seating and exhibition areas.
The structure features a steel frame construction with red-painted metal grid panels, corrugated metal cladding, and transparent/translucent roofing elements. Material palette includes steel grid mesh, cylindrical steel profiles, dark brown/corten surfaces, and container-like modular units. Floor plans show 1:75 scale drawings for ground floor (1.NP) and second floor (2.NP), with sections A-A' and B-B' at 1:75 scale, and elevations (northeast and northwest) at 1:75 scale. Site plan at 1:500 scale shows the urban context.
