The idea is to create a community space for residents of Lázně Poděbrady that supports mutual interaction and community life. The goal is to create a place where culture, relaxation, and everyday life come together.

Popis projektu

An architectural design of a multifunctional civic building in the central part of the city of Poděbrady, relating to public spaces, a park, and the surrounding spa buildings of Lázně Poděbrady. The building program combines residential functions with public amenities including a community center, fitness, a lecture hall, a café, and a gallery. The architectural concept responds to the surrounding spa development. The main distinctive elements are curved roofs that reference the nearby historic buildings. The program ranges from active public use on the lower floors to private residential units on the upper floor. The material solution supports the functional division of the building - the first and second floors are defined by polished concrete, while the upper floor facade features vertical timber panels in oak wood connected with a pilaster pattern. The building is located in the center of Poděbrady on the street Lázeňská, connected through the spa corridor to the surrounding spa park.

Technické informace

The documentation includes floor plans of the 1st and 2nd floors, a northwest floor plan, section A-A, a site plan at 1:1500, and a broader context situation plan. The building uses timber panel construction (Hundegger panel timber Likon) with polished concrete on lower floors. The spatial solution shows 3D axonometric views and material scheme.
