A foundation building dedicated to Zdeněk Sýkora located in Prague, Letná, combining cultural and exhibition spaces with a distinctive architectural form inspired by the artist's geometric work.

Popis projektu

The project proposes a new building for the Zdeněk Sýkora Foundation situated in the Letná district of Prague. The design features a composition of interconnected volumes with varying heights, including two prominent tower elements. The massing concept starts from a basic geometric form that is subdivided and articulated into distinct volumes to create a dynamic composition. The facade treatment incorporates perforated brick or patterned cladding panels that reference Sýkora's artistic legacy of geometric abstraction. The building includes exhibition spaces, service areas, and a main entrance, organized across multiple levels including a basement level.

Technické informace

The building comprises ground floor (1.NP), second floor (2.NP), and one underground level (1.PP), shown at 1:300 scale. Site plans are presented at 1:5000 and 1:1500 scales. Cross-section A-A and longitudinal section B-B are provided at 1:300. Four elevations are shown: east, north, west, and south. The design features mixed materials including perforated facade panels and plastered surfaces.
