Idea projektu

Design of a new university training center in the external campus CEG FSv ČVUT (Center of Experimental Geotechnics - Underground Laboratory Josef) in Smilovice near the Slapy Dam.

Popis projektu

The center will serve not only ČVUT but also firms and partners as a modern training facility and workplace with emphasis on the use of new technologies (BIM, robotics, testing, etc.). The multifunctional building of the training center includes a conference/daily room, training room, offices, locker rooms and hygienic facilities, a daily room with kitchenette, storage spaces, and accommodation for 30 people. The program is organized into distinct zones: conference and social areas, training and service areas, kitchen facilities for guests, accommodation units, a relaxation zone, and parking.

Technické informace

The project includes floor plans at 1:250 scale (ground floor and basement), cross-sections A-A' and B-B' at 1:250, a western elevation at 1:250, a detailed construction section at 1:20, and a site plan at 1:1000 and 1:25000. The building concept consists of two primary volumes - a training center and accommodation unit - connected and oriented on the sloped terrain. The design features a combination of dark cladding (likely Corten steel) and lighter materials with large glazed openings.
