Idea projektu

A shelter conceived as a dialogue between architecture and landscape, inspired by the tooth-like form emerging from the terrain on the hill of Babka near Šedivek.

Popis projektu

The project 'Dentum-supra' derives from the concept of a shelter as a dialogue with the landscape. The object is situated in the landscape near Benecko, using the effect of geometric angular forms. The architectural form is defined as a planar horizontal slab with prismatic triangular openings that create a unique spatial experience - a 'tooth-like prism' in the landscape. The structure integrates into the surrounding hilly terrain, with the roof surface flowing naturally from the hillside, making the shelter appear as if growing from the ground when viewed from above.

Technické informace

The structure consists of a reinforced concrete slab and additional prefabricated concrete elements founded on strip foundations. The upper deck serves as a passable surface with waterproofing membrane and vegetation layers. The concrete structure features triangular perforations that allow natural light penetration into the sheltered spaces below. The object is designed to withstand climatic conditions while remaining visually integrated with the surrounding forest landscape.
