A shelter situated on the hilltop of Sulava between the towns of Černošice and Radotín, designed as a rest stop along a tourist trail. The design aims to integrate into the landscape without disturbing the natural character of the surroundings.
The small designed object is situated on the hilltop of Sulava between Černošice and Radotín, serving as a resting point along a tourist route. A key factor for the design was the orientation of the site offering views toward Černošice. The concept follows the principle of partially embedding the object into the terrain so that its surroundings become part of it. A simple geometric form follows the slope with stairs leading to a viewpoint and into the object, while the roof serves as a lookout platform.
The primary construction and aesthetic element is white polished concrete, which emphasizes the geometric character of the design. Stone railings were chosen to complement the monolithic concrete appearance. The monolithic block of stairs also serves as the structural base, utilizing a reinforced concrete slab.
