In today’s ever-moving world, the bedroom is no longer merely a place of rest, but a sanctuary for the soul. Born from the desire to create a retreat imbued with cultural depth and emotional resonance, "Azure Mekong: A Contemporary Indochine Retreat" emerges as a meeting point between Eastern memory and the artistic spirit of Europe.

The Mekong River inspires the project’s flowing forms and soothing azure palette, evoking the serenity of still waters. Meanwhile, the almond blossoms from Van Gogh’s celebrated artwork are reinterpreted as symbols of renewal, hope, and timeless beauty. Through handcrafted materials, a contemporary Indochine architectural language, and thoughtfully curated artistic details, the space is envisioned as a refuge where one can rediscover balance, reconnect with the inner self, and embrace moments of profound tranquility amidst modern life.

"Azure Mekong: A Contemporary Indochine Retreat" is a master bedroom and wellness bathroom interior design project inspired by the Mekong River and Van Gogh’s almond blossoms. The space is shaped through a contemporary Indochine design language, featuring key elements such as the sleeping area, walk-in wardrobe, bathroom, signature arches, an artistic headboard feature, mosaic details, and handcrafted local materials, creating a refined retreat enriched with cultural depth and tranquility.

Technické informace

The project celebrates the authentic beauty of wood, woven rattan, natural stone, and refined metal accents to reinterpret the artisanal essence of Indochine design. Graceful arches, flowing forms inspired by the movement of water, and details derived from almond blossoms are transformed into a contemporary design language, creating a harmonious balance between Eastern heritage and the artistic spirit of Europe.
