Idea projektu

The architectural concept responds to the spa character of Poděbrady, creating a multifunctional spa building that references the surrounding urban fabric through its block-like form while offering wellness and hotel functions integrated into the historic spa town context.

Popis projektu

The project is a wellness hotel in the spa town of Poděbrady, designed as a multifunctional spa building. The design concept draws from the characteristic urban block form of the surrounding area, creating a compact building mass that integrates with the existing urban context. The building is organized around a central courtyard-like space, with hotel rooms, wellness facilities, and public functions distributed across four floors. The facade uses a combination of exposed concrete, insulating glass panels, and ventilated natural stone cladding to create a contemporary yet contextually appropriate expression.

Technické informace

The building comprises 4 above-ground floors. Floor plans show hotel rooms arranged along the perimeter with central service cores including staircases and elevators. Material solutions include exposed concrete on the 1st and 2nd floor exterior surfaces, insulating triple-glazed panels with integrated shading, and a ventilated facade of cut natural stone. Sections show the staircase detail and longitudinal building profile. The site plan shows the building's integration within the broader urban context of Poděbrady, positioned near the spa area and historic city center.
