Idea projektu

Design of a new secondary school (gymnasium) for 360 students in the town of Jesenice near Prague, responding to the growing suburban community's need for educational facilities with a modern pedagogical approach.

Popis projektu

The project proposes a new gymnasium building situated on a plot of approximately 7,815 square meters in Jesenice near Prague. The architectural concept is based on creating a modern pedagogical model emphasizing openness and transparency, where the building functions as a semi-public space. The design takes an active approach to working with the surrounding environment and creates a visually attractive individual character. The architecture of the building aims to be a natural landmark in the area. The school is designed so that individual parts function as separate units while also serving as a complex for community and leisure activities.

Technické informace

The building includes floor plans at 1:250 scale showing the ground floor (1.NP) and upper floor (2.-3.NP). The structural scheme is shown at 1:400 scale. Cross-sections A and B are presented at 1:250 scale. Four elevations are provided at 1:250 (east, west, north, south). The building features a capacity of approximately 25 classrooms with a gymnasium and sports facilities. The facade uses a combination of glazed curtain wall systems and solid panels. The site plan shows integration with the surrounding residential context and proximity to public transportation infrastructure.
