The design revitalizes the railway station space in Zadní Třebaň, which currently serves only as a transport hub, transforming it into a multifunctional public place that will attract visitors and residents throughout the day.
The proposal transforms the station from a purely transportation space into a multifunctional public place. It connects transport, services, and recreation. The space is divided into three functional zones that interconnect while each has its specific use. The multifunctional zone provides space for relaxation, meetings, leisure activities, and cultural events for all age categories, also serving as a waiting area. The bistro zone serves as a social center of the complex with refreshments and seating for travelers, cyclists, and locals. The cycle workshop zone provides facilities for cyclists enabling minor bicycle repairs, with a covered bike storage for approximately 16 bicycles accessible from the ground floor underpass.
