Idea projektu

The idea of this Project is to reconnect the city of ISMAILIA with its lost relationship to sport as a daily urban practice.
Overtime, one of the city's puplic spaces EL-Montazah Park transformed from an active park into and abandoned urban void.
The project takes a step back to revisit the city's origins , where movement and sport were part of everyday life, and reinterperts them through architecture.

Popis projektu

The project proposes the transformation of the existing vacant site into an active urban sports hub that integrates movement, public space, and social interaction.
The design consists of interconnected zones including sports field, Swimming Pool, pedestrian movement paths, gathering spaces, and community-oriented facilities.
The project focuses on accessibility, flexibility, and inclusivity, allowing people of different ages and abilities to participate.

Technické informace

The project adopts a modular and flexible design approach that allows for phased development and future adaptation.
The construction system combines reinforced concrete structural elements with lightweight steel and wooden components for shading structures and activity zones.
Open spaces are designed using durable, low-maintenance materials suitable for intensive public use.
The project integrates passive design strategies, including natural ventilation, shading devices, and landscape elements to improve thermal comfort.
Circulation networks are designed to prioritize pedestrian movement and ensure smooth connectivity between all zones.
