This architect's studio is located in a courtyard on Jana Masaryka Street in Prague 2. The objective of the design was to create a rooftop extension on the existing building using modern technologies and materials.
The central feature is a glass-walled studio on the third floor, providing maximum natural light and a visual connection to the surrounding courtyard. The structure complements the original building with a modern element, emphasizing meticulous detail and contemporary technology.
The material solution combines vacuum-insulated double glazing with Smart Glass technology in shades of white and platinum with a PVB interlayer. This combination ensures optimal visual comfort and privacy within the interior. The overall architectural concept merges a creative workspace with residential functions on the lower floors, creating one harmonious whole.
