A chair design inspired by history and refined by modernity, drawing from Arabian heritage and equestrian culture to create a contemporary furniture piece that bridges tradition and modern design.

Al-Ajrab is a chair design that draws inspiration from Arabian heritage, particularly horse riding culture and traditional craftsmanship. The design incorporates elements such as ornate brass/gold detailing on the leg tips reminiscent of Islamic geometric patterns, dark wood construction, and leather upholstery. The chair features elegant curved armrests and a tall back with a distinctive brass finial element. The material palette includes dark hardwood, brown leather with stitching details, and gold-toned metal accents.

Technické informace

The board presents orthographic drawings including front view, side view, and back view at scale 1:3. The execution process is documented through photographs showing the fabrication stages. Material samples and color swatches are provided showing the leather and wood selections used in construction.
