The HORIZONT Pavilion project stands out for its sensitive integration into the campus environment and its thoughtful approach to user flow. I particularly appreciate the fact that the building does not create a barrier within the site but naturally becomes part of the existing pedestrian routes and the daily life of the campus. The design feels open and accessible, fostering spontaneous encounters and diverse forms of use.A key strength of the project is the creation of a flexible space capable of responding to the diverse needs of its users. The combination of relaxation zones, areas for teaching, workshops, and informal activities creates a vibrant environment with the potential to become an important community hub. I also appreciate the use of a green roof and the effort to integrate architecture with natural elements, which contribute to the quality of the public space. At the same time, the project offers an interesting interpretation of the AI Emissary 6 brief through the adaptability and openness of the system. Here, intelligence is not expressed through technological effects, but through the space’s ability to transform according to the current needs of its users and to support diverse forms of interaction.For the further development of the design, it would be beneficial to demonstrate in greater detail how the pavilion’s flexibility translates into specific spatial scenarios and how individual parts of the structure can respond to changing activities throughout the day or year. A stronger connection between the concept of adaptability and the theme of future forms of intelligence could further emphasize the originality of the design.Overall, this is a very well-balanced and well-executed project that offers high-quality architecture, a pleasant environment for users, and a compelling vision of a multipurpose pavilion for a contemporary university campus.
