Work description
Goodix Technology Belgium is offering an open internship within the R&D team of the Audio Business Unit (AUDIO BU). Our group develops audio and speech solutions for mobile, wearable, and automotive applications. Machine learning—particularly deep neural networks—is central to tasks such as voice quality and intelligibility enhancement, spatial signal processing, source separation, and audio classification. The intern will carry out an independent, supervised project on one of these topics (e.g., voice enhancement or spatial audio processing). Responsibilities include performing a literature review, selecting and preparing datasets, implementing neural networks and loss functions in a Python framework (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow), training models on a cloud service, and analyzing experimental results. This hands-on internship lets the candidate apply theoretical knowledge to practical problems and address current challenges in audio processing.
