A bus shelter designed to create awareness and encourage people to observe their surroundings. Through framed views and open sightlines, users remain relaxed while consciously watching. The form echoes an eye quietly opening, inviting every passerby to pause, see and become aware.

Project description

The bus shelter transforms waiting into a moment of focused vision and quiet engagement. The organic, eye-shaped form creates framed views and open sightlines that encourage users to observe their surroundings. The design incorporates waiting areas, circulation spaces, a bus tracker, landscaping, and pedestrian paths. The sculptural shell features flowing curves with integrated seating and a water basin element.

Technical information

Materials include hot dip galvanized steel frame, galvanized steel sheet cladding, epoxy and UP coating, engineered timber decking, textured concrete, clear glass, and a water basin. The structure features organic curved forms with steel framing and cladding systems.
