Project idea

Living Network explores how people, nature, and architecture exist as an interconnected system. Inspired by the hidden networks of tree roots and mycelium beneath the earth, the project creates spaces that connect, branch, gather, and grow. Visitors move through a sequence of pathways, gardens, and pavilions that symbolize the continuous exchange of knowledge, culture, ecology, and human relationships.

Project description

Just as roots communicate underground and support entire ecosystems, communities thrive through invisible connections. The project transforms this natural phenomenon into architecture, where every path, landscape element, and built form acts as part of a larger living network.
Spaces begin as individual nodes and gradually merge into collaborative environments, encouraging interaction, learning, reflection, and social engagement. The design demonstrates that growth occurs not in isolation, but through connection.

Technical information

The project combines sustainable architecture and landscape design through permeable paving, native planting, rainwater harvesting, passive ventilation, and lightweight structural systems. Organic forms derived from root networks guide both spatial organization and visitor movement.
