Project idea

A historical exhibition pavilion designed to house both permanent and temporary exhibition galleries, along with supporting spaces such as a lobby, reception, storage, and AV/multimedia rooms.

Project description

The pavilion features a linear layout with a permanent exhibition gallery, a temporary exhibition area, and service spaces including a curator room, storage room, AV/multimedia room, and lobby/reception. The ground floor plan shows dimensions of approximately 60m x 39m. The building incorporates a grand corridor connecting the various exhibition spaces. Sections reveal varying ceiling heights, with the main gallery reaching 7m and the temporary exhibition space at 12.5m, creating dramatic interior volumes. The design includes carefully lit gallery spaces with warm ambient lighting and elegant interior finishes.

Ground floor plan dimensions: 60.0520m x 38.9818m. Section AA shows heights of 7.0000m and 12.5000m. Section BB shows a height of 11.6000m. Spaces include: Permanent Exhibition Gallery, Temporary Exhibition area, Curator Room, Storage Room, AV/Multimedia Room, Lobby/Reception, and Grand Corridor.
