A beachfront weekend cottage with organic curvilinear forms and extensive green roofing, integrating landscape and architecture into a seamless coastal retreat.

Project description

The project features a luxury beachfront residence with a distinctive organic plan composed of interconnected circular volumes topped with green roofs. The design includes a swimming pool with natural rock features, a beach volleyball court, parking area, a water garden, and landscaped grounds. The curving forms create sheltered outdoor spaces and terraces while the green roof helps the building blend into the tropical landscape.

Technical information

The structure features extensive green roof systems covering the curvilinear concrete volumes, wooden deck terracing wrapping around the building perimeter, and large glazed facades for panoramic ocean views. The site includes a pond/water feature system, stone paving for vehicular areas, and integrated landscaping with tropical vegetation.
