Project idea

A weekend cottage designed in the Expressionism × Neo-Futurism style, emphasizing fluid, dynamic and sculptural form with fragmented curves inspired by a crescent moon and infinity loop, symbolizing elegance, continuity and endless possibility. Curves denote femininity.

Project description

The project is a luxury weekend retreat designed for a global celebrity client seeking escape from urban and public life. The design vision centers on luxury and warmth, serenity and entertainment, nature and modernity. The organic, curvilinear form creates a sculptural building with a warm wood roof deck, textured concrete walls and structure, matte metal railings and accents, sand beige interior walls and floors, and warm white curved parapets and soffits. The program includes pool, kitchen, master zone, library room, utility, dining, lounge, parking, toilet, courtyard, lounge room, guest room, and spa areas.

Technical information

Materials include textured concrete for walls and structure, warm wood for roof deck and ceilings, matte metal for railings and accents, sand beige finishes for interior walls and floors, and warm white for curved parapets and soffits. The zoning organizes spaces into distinct functional areas with a bubble diagram showing relationships between pool, kitchen, master zone, dining, lounge, courtyard, spa, and guest rooms.
