A fluid architecture inspired by the rhythm of tides — constantly evolving, flowing, and adapting to its surroundings. The concept explores moving with tides as a design driver.
A weekend cottage designed with a tidal zoning concept where form, light, and landscape interact like waves on the shore. The form is inspired by the rhythm of tides, featuring curvilinear geometries that blend with nature. The evolution of the design moves from an unbroken wave to a double-height waterfall form that allows and illuminates sunlight inside the house. The zoning includes pool, garden, deck, outdoor lounge, kitchen, green areas, dining, living, powder room, utility, master bedroom, wardrobes, bath, family lounge, open to below, kids bedroom, balcony, and additional bedrooms.
The plan shows a curvilinear layout with integrated pool and garden areas. The zoning diagram organizes spaces across multiple levels including ground floor public areas (kitchen, dining, living, outdoor lounge) and upper level private areas (master bedroom, bedrooms, family lounge, balcony). The design incorporates a double-height space and waterfall feature.
