Project idea

THE INTERPRETATION CENTRE IS CONCEIVED AS A SPATIAL JOURNEY WHERE ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPE, AND MOVEMENT TOGETHER NARRATE THE EMOTIONAL TRANSITION FROM LOSS TO HEALING. THE PROJECT CREATES A SEQUENCE OF EXPERIENCES THAT GUIDE VISITORS THROUGH REMEMBRANCE, REFLECTION, AWARENESS, AND FINALLY TOWARDS RECONNECTION WITH LIFE AND COMMUNITY.

Project description

THE DESIGN IS DEVELOPED USING THREE MAJOR CONCEPTUAL LAYERS:

VOID: REPRESENTING ABSENCE, SILENCE, AND MEMORY

LANDSCAPE AS HEALING: USING NATURE AS AN EMOTIONAL AND RESTORATIVE ELEMENT

NARRATIVE JOURNEY: CREATING A SEQUENTIAL SPATIAL EXPERIENCE THROUGH MOVEMENT

Technical information
