A big idea that connects people from different paths and directions, inspired by a web that is strong, light, and interconnected. It becomes a symbol of unity, movement, and endless links.
The project uses tensile structures inspired by spider webs to create a bus shelter and public gathering space. The design distributes loads evenly, reducing stress, while connecting the town on new paths using lightweight yet high-strength materials. The program includes a sunshade zone for comfort and nighttime use, an AC seating area with shaded space and cool air flow, clean and accessible toilet facilities, and an open transition zone for free flow and visually connected movement. The roof form of the bus shelter employs a web-like tensile canopy structure.
Tensile structure system that is strong because it distributes loads evenly, reducing stress. Lightweight yet high-strength material. Features include shade and comfort provision, rainwater flow management, natural ventilation, and lightweight structural framework. Properties: safe, light, AC, insulated, flexible, alluring, large, spatial, minimal, and future adaptive.
