Consequently, this home will provide comfort, health, and warmth for its occupants, while continually preserving a healthy environment. is the interior design for an already completed house, where the walls and layout positions have already been determined.
The house embraces a tropical and semi-biophilic concept that is perfectly suited to Indonesia's climate. With a primary focus on occupant comfort, this concept is designed to create a warm atmosphere. The tropical concept is intended to allow the house to respond to the Indonesian climate while still ensuring comfort and warmth for its residents. Meanwhile, the biophilic concept aims to foster a healthy lifestyle through the presence of various green plants, cross-ventilation, and maximum sunlight exposure throughout every room.
The materials used are more environmentally friendly, such as acacia and oak wood. Both are the most sustainable and durable types of wood in Indonesia, suitable for facade elements, interiors, and furniture. Additionally, this house utilizes lightweight concrete blocks (aerated lightweight concrete) for the walls and structure, which are more eco-friendly compared to other materials like red bricks or concrete. For the flooring, ceramic tiles were chosen to achieve an elegant yet warm feel. Finally, natural stone is used for the facade elements, a material proven to be more environmentally friendly and frequently used in Indonesia.
