A foundation building dedicated to the legacy of Zdeněk Sýkora, located in Prague's Letná district, featuring a bold contemporary glass and concrete structure that reflects the geometric and artistic principles of the artist's work.
The project proposes a multi-story cultural foundation building situated in Prague, Letná. The design features a striking composition of cantilevered glass volumes with a transparent facade system, creating a dynamic interplay between solid concrete elements and glazed surfaces. The ground level opens to a public plaza with outdoor seating, while upper floors house exhibition and foundation spaces. The building integrates a green wall element and maintains a dialogue with the surrounding urban context. The massing strategy involves stacked and shifted rectangular volumes that create architectural interest from all elevations.
The building is presented with detailed sections at 1:200, floor plans at 1:200, site plans at 1:5000 and 1:500, axonometric views, and four elevations (north, south, east, west). The structure appears to utilize a concrete frame with extensive curtain wall glazing systems. Multiple floor levels are visible in the sections, including what appears to be underground levels.
