A pavilion structure situated in the landscape of Divoká Šárka, Prague, featuring an open timber grid framework that merges with the natural surroundings.
The project proposes a two-story pavilion in Divoká Šárka, Prague. The design is characterized by an open wooden grid structure that creates a permeable architectural volume in the landscape. The building uses a combination of materials including glass, metal, natural wood, and charred wood (Yakisugi technique). The design evolved from simple U-shaped plan forms into a complex interlocking spatial composition. The structure sits on the hillside terrain near a watercourse, with the ground floor and upper floor plans responding to the topography.
Materials include glass, metal, natural wood, and charred wood. The building is presented with floor plans for 1NP and 2NP, elevations at 1:200, and sections at 1:200. The structural system consists of a timber post-and-beam grid framework creating a modular spatial cage.
