Design of a multifunctional building in Lázně Poděbrady that would support spa services, wellness and accommodation facilities. The main idea was to sensitively connect the building with the urban and functional structure of the area. The project responds to broader urbanistic relationships, transforming the town square into a piazzetta and thus enlivening the public space.
The architecture of the house intentionally recedes from the street line, creating a piazzetta. The ground floor is divided into two independent volumes connected by a covered arcade that naturally extends greenery towards the building as a park. The visual references draw on the character of the town - modular Corten panels form the facade. The building functions as a natural development and park extension, serving as a café, wellness and fitness center, and long-term accommodation, with seasonal changes between summer and winter spa operations.
The documentation includes floor plans, sections (A-A, B-B), axonometric views, and spatial solution diagrams showing: 1) café, 2) hall, 3) fitness center, 4) apartment, 5) entrance - underground parking. The site plan shows the relationship to the surrounding context including the piazzetta, future spa building, park, Hotel Libenský, summer baths, pump room, and Říegrův pramen.
