The design presents a small civic building situated in the spa town of Lázně Poděbrady, located at the interface between the Spa Park and a piazzetta. The proposal reimagines the relationship between architecture and greenery, where trees are not treated as barriers but as integral parts of the environment, connecting the building's interior and exterior spaces to create a peaceful setting reflecting the character of the spa town.
The project proposes a civic building harmonically responding to the character of the spa environment in Poděbrady. The primary design principle is the interconnection of architecture with greenery and the surrounding area, where the building does not act as a barrier but as an integral part of the space. The concept works with transparency, light, and visual connection between interior and exterior. Trees placed in the central part of the building soften the boundary between the building's structure and bring greenery directly into the internal communal space of the building. The building separates housing from the public part of the complex and creates a calm inner environment.
The documentation includes floor plans, sections, axonometric views, spatial solutions, site plan and wider context situation plan. The building program includes residential and public civic functions organized around a central courtyard with integrated landscaping.
