Terralinea is a lookout trail that winds through the landscape and offers various views of the surroundings. Its organic form responds to the terrain and respects nature.
The project is a serpentine elevated walkway/observation path set in a natural forested hillside landscape. The organic, curving form allows visitors to experience panoramic views while the structure integrates sensitively with the topography. The trail winds through trees and along the hillside, creating multiple vantage points and spatial experiences as one moves along its length. The design features transparent glass enclosures supported on slender columns, allowing the structure to appear lightweight and visually permeable within the natural setting.
Materials include tinted glass (transparent, optically light), dark concrete (stable, durable), and stainless steel cables (non-corroding, strong). The structure is elevated on piloti/columns. Drawings include site plan at 1:3000, site plan at 1:400, floor plan at 1:200, section at 1:200, elevation at 1:200, and a soffit view.
