Project idea

A modern multifunctional sports hall connecting sport, relaxation and community life in Prague-Stodůlky, Britská čtvrť. The building integrates a fitness center, sports fields, a café, and a green roof terrace for rest with a view.

Project description

The building is based on the principle of a podium and enables fluid movement through and around it. The green roof connects and completes the park while creating a pleasant outlook. The front facade features a transparent curtain wall allowing views in and out. The design is connected to the surroundings via terrain, pedestrian routes, and cycling infrastructure. The project includes a sports hall, gym, changing rooms, wellness, café, and multifunctional spaces on two floors.

Technical information

The ground floor contains a sports hall (461 m²), gym (312 m²), changing rooms, WC facilities, a shop, reception, spa, kitchen, and storage. The second floor includes a gallery for spectators, three studios, a sports bar, and a lounge. Detailed sections (ŘEZ A-A, ŘEZ B-B) show the structural system with the green roof and glazed facades. Four principles of integration into the surroundings are illustrated in diagrams.
