Design of a community house that serves as a cultural and social center for the village of Psáry near Prague. The building integrates multiple functions including a multifunctional hall, library, and community spaces.
The community house is situated on the village green in Psáry and responds to the existing village structure. The concept works with the surrounding context and traditional village patterns. The building creates a semi-enclosed courtyard space that serves as a public gathering area. The design connects to the existing village communication routes and offers residents possibilities for cultural, social, and everyday community activities. The architectural form uses simple volumes with pitched and flat roofs that reference the local building tradition while introducing contemporary architectural language.
The structural system is based on reinforced concrete and masonry construction. The building features large glazed surfaces to connect interior and exterior spaces. The facade combines rendered surfaces with glass elements. The project includes detailed floor plans, sections, and elevations showing the spatial organization of the multifunctional hall, library, and supporting spaces.
