Revitalization of the Zadní Třebaň railway station into a municipal library with a bistro, transforming the station into a place serving local residents and tourists alike.
The existing station building in Zadní Třebaň has undergone several unfortunate reconstructions in the past, during which valuable historical elements were removed and less suitable additions were made that gradually lost their significance and no longer meet current standards. The aim is to transform the station into a place for the local community — residents, tourists passing through to Karlštejn, and commuters who use bicycles or trains to get to work. The main design concept is to open the station building to the public, restore its original character, and modify both the building and its surroundings so that pathways respond to actual user needs.
The project includes ground floor plan (1. NP) and second floor plan (2. NP), two cross-sections (Řez A, Řez B), north and east elevations, a close-up site plan, and a broader context site plan. The building features characteristic red roofs and restored historical facades with arched windows.
