Project idea

An exhibition pavilion in Prague Dejvice designed as a fan-shaped structure that integrates greenery and serves as a display space for student work, replacing an originally planned monument.

Project description

The project is located in Prague Dejvice and proposes an exhibition pavilion called 'Vějíř' (Fan). The original idea was to place a monument of faculty building with a view of the surrounding area, but instead the space was repurposed as an exhibition venue for student works. The pavilion works with a fan-shaped ground plan that gradually opens up. The structure features transparent glass panels combined with wooden cladding and green elements, creating a semi-open exhibition space that blends with the surrounding park environment. The design uses trapezoidal metal sheeting, tinted glass, dark plinth, green wall surfaces, gravel surfacing, and concrete as primary materials.
