The design responds to the need to create a quality community center that provides space for social gatherings, education, culture, and leisure activities. The aim is to create a well-equipped building that supports community life and offers spaces for culture, social events, education, and leisure activities for local residents.
The goal of the project is the revitalization of the center of the Cholupice village by creating a multifunctional building that complements the missing functions in the village and its surroundings. The building mass respects the surrounding development, maintains a distance from the existing buildings, and creates a quality public space with a smooth pedestrian flow. The design includes CLT light facade panels, glazed facade sections, a green terrace, and a sidewalk layer as key material solutions.
The project includes documentation with sections, elevations, and floor plans at various scales. The spatial solution shows an axonometric breakdown of the building's components. The site plan shows the building's integration into the broader urban context of Prague 12, with connections to public transport lines 165 and 341 linking the area to the wider Prague transport network. Parking solutions and pedestrian pathways are integrated into the surrounding landscape.
