A new community house on the village square of Psáry, designed to serve as a civic gathering place that respects the rural character of the settlement.
The project proposes a municipal community house located on the main square of the village of Psáry. The building features a series of gabled volumes clad in timber, referencing the local vernacular architecture. The design includes a ground floor with public and communal spaces and a second floor with additional program. The building is organized around the existing terrain and village context, creating a new public space on the square. The exterior material palette includes vertical timber cladding, large-format paving, and standing seam metal roofing, establishing a contemporary yet contextual architectural language.
The project includes floor plans at 1:200 scale for both levels, site plan at 1:3000, three building sections (A-A, B-B, C-C), northwest and southeast elevations, an axonometric view, and a detail of a hidden gutter. Exterior material elements shown include standing seam metal roofing, timber cladding (falcovaný plech), modified brick paving, and gabion elements.
