Connect with Třebaň - revitalization of the Zadní Třebaň railway station as a community hub linking transport, cycling infrastructure along the Berounka river, and public amenities in a historically significant location near Prague.
The project addresses the revitalization of the railway station in Zadní Třebaň, an important transport node connected to pedestrian and cycling paths along the Berounka river. The building serves as a community space for locals and tourists, offering civic amenities, cultural facilities, and refreshments while preserving the historical building masses and character. The design introduces a green roof, a multifunctional space, and an attractive landscaped connection. The cycling path from Berounka is connected directly into the station building via a ramp leading into the main hall. The entire project is designed to be barrier-free, which is one of its primary design goals.
The project includes floor plans for 1st and 2nd floors, cross sections C-C' and B-B', longitudinal section A-A', north elevation, east elevation, west elevation, axonometric view, site plan of wider context along the Berounka river, and detailed site plan of the immediate surroundings. The design preserves existing building volumes while introducing changes in architectural expression, integrating the cycling path construction directly into the station building.
