A temporary and modular information center for the Vltavská Philharmonic construction site, serving as a focal point for public communication and presentation of the Bubny-Zátory urban transformation area.
The project proposes a temporary modular information center located at Prague's Vltavská/Bubny locality, designed to communicate with the public and present the transformation of the Bubny-Zátory district. The building is conceived as a prefabricated, easily assembled and disassembled structure for temporary use. Functionally, the center is divided into a variable exhibition hall, a space for a model of the philharmonic, an information point and café, with an upper level containing a viewing platform enabling direct observation of the construction progress. The architectural concept draws from urban planning requirements while creating a distinctive landmark that responds to dynamic changes in the Bubny-Zátory locality. The dominant feature is a self-supporting cantilever mass that with its slanted surfaces rises above the terrain, providing a sense of lightness and grandeur. The prominent facade element is a structural green letter 'V' that functions as the building's identity, symbolizing Vltavská, the Vltava Philharmonic, and the city itself. The distinctive green coloring creates a sharp contrast with both the historical and utilitarian surrounding development.
The building has two floors (1.NP and 2.NP). Ground floor includes café, exhibition space for the philharmonic model, small hall, toilets, hygiene facilities, and storage. Second floor contains a viewing platform, large hall, study spaces, offices, staff offices, staff WC, and technical room. Floor levels range from -6.500 to +9.700. Documentation at scales 1:150, 1:200. Technical facade detail at 1:50. Site plan at 1:350, wider context at 1:2000.
