The main idea is to design a sports hall that does not visually stand out in the landscape and at the same time provides a pleasant environment for sports and relaxation.
The sports hall is largely embedded into the terrain, situated in the residential area of Ďáblice in Prague 8. The building connects to the existing sports facilities in the southern part of Ďáblice and aims to become a multifunctional hall for community use. The hall is designed as a two-story structure with the main sports floor at ground level and supporting facilities below. It features a timber lamellar facade cladding, exposed concrete walls, and reinforced concrete columns. The facility includes a main sports court, changing rooms, hygiene facilities, and spaces for spectators and administration.
The building uses a reinforced concrete structural system with concrete columns. The facade is clad with wooden lamellar panels. The structure includes two levels - ground floor (1.PP) with the main hall and basement (1.PP) with supporting facilities. Materials include wooden lamellar cladding for the facade, exposed concrete walls with fine plaster finish, and reinforced concrete columns with exposed concrete finish.
