Project idea

A new building H for the Faculty of Civil Engineering of CTU in Prague, located in Dejvice, Prague 6, designed as a modern educational facility integrating into the existing campus context.

Project description

The project proposes a new multi-story building for the Faculty of Civil Engineering at CTU in Prague. The design features a contemporary glass and concrete facade with horizontal emphasis, creating an open and transparent educational environment. The building is organized with classrooms, lecture halls, offices, and common spaces distributed across multiple floors. The ground floor connects to the surrounding landscape with a green meadow approach. The building's massing responds to the urban context of the Dejvice campus area.

Technical information

The building comprises multiple floors with a clearly structured floor plan featuring a central corridor system. Floor plans show classrooms, laboratories, and office spaces. The project includes detailed sections showing floor-to-floor heights and structural organization. The facade system consists of a regular grid of glazed openings with concrete structural elements. Site plans indicate the building's placement within the broader Dejvice campus context.
